Boo! Start planning your costume–the 9th annual Logan Square Halloween parade is October 28th. The organizers say:

This year is sure to be our biggest parade yet! Join us at the monument at 5:00pm to chat and spy all of the little ghouls and goblins before we begin marching at 5:30. We’ll head south down Kedzie before looping around and ending up at Lula Cafe for warm apple cider and fresh cookies provided by the wonderful owners Jason and Lea.

Where: Meet up at the Illinois Centennial Monument–you know, that big white pointy thing in the center of the traffic circle at Kedzie and Milwaukee Avenues.

Please bring along your musical instruments or noise-makers (is there a difference when in the hands of toddlers?) and be prepared to use them.

Hi Logan Square! We’re sorry to announce that the Summer Sessions concert scheduled for August 25th has been canceled due to a lack of funding. We will be back September 22nd with a fantastic show to close out the 2012 season!
